Montana Renewable  Energy Study 

In 2021, the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation   compiled research to be utilized in preparing a law review article on how solar and wind on state trust lands are handled by the 12  NASTL states reporting to be involved in these activities.   The documents provided here were  more than could be included  in the draft report.    Documents specific to wind  and solar development can be found on their respective  pages within this site.
